Every year, a very special event gives us the opportunity to discover the métiers d'art, those artisanal professions that require traditional, highly specialized skills and knowledge. This event takes place from March 31 to April 6, 2025: the Journées européennes des métiers d'art open the doors of numerous art venues and workshops, enabling us to get to know these masters of watchmaking, jewelry, ceramics, leatherwork, gardens, woodwork... As you'll have gathered, these very special events offer a wealth of discoveries!
These Journées des métiers d'art (or JEMA) give us free access to over 500 events in Paris and the Île-de-France region. And among them, appointments with craftspeople at the Louvre Museum and the Tuileries Gardens !
From April 1 to 6, 2025, Paris' most famous museum invites us to meet its craftsmen. Occasional workshops and a guided tour will enable us to find out more about the little hands who contribute to the museum's renown, and to the preservation of the treasures it houses. Please note that reservations are essential, and the ticket office is due to open in March.
Here is the program for this new edition of JEMA at the Musée du Louvre:
Many other exceptional events are being organized in Paris, so make the most of this opportunity to discover exciting professions!
