In May, the Jardin d’Acclimatation shifts its palette to welcome the 7th edition of Holi, the famous festival of colors in India. Sunday, May 31, 2026, the festival goes outdoors: pigments take flight, outlines blur, and color becomes a universal language.
From the moment you step in, the vibe is set. Cadenced percussion, a bindi on the forehead, immersion is immediate. The route opens onto the Village Holi, a concentré d’Inde where colors, sounds and scents overlap. You wander between the ateliers d'artisans, showcases of traditional know‑how, while the foodtrucks et kiosques waft spice aromas and hearty fare.
Everything then converges toward the Green Mirror, across from the Fondation Louis Vuitton, where the Grand Stage becomes the gathering point. Concerts, shows and performances follow each other there, carried by hundreds of artists.
And then comes what everyone is here for: the color throw. Handfuls of pigment—six hues—are hurled into the air. The sky brightens, the crowd dissolves into a colored haze, clothes take on a new look. In seconds, the venue becomes a lively, collective living canvas.
Holi is also a gathering. A welcoming, Paris-based Indian community that shares here far more than a festival: energy, codes, a culture that is lived and passed on. Since its inaugural edition, more than 100,000 participants have already answered the call. The smart move: dress in white, so the colors can work their magic—and leave you marked... literally and figuratively!
