Part of the Open Gardens program in Ile-de-France

  • Galleria Continua (77) - Guided tour & Skatepark Continua

The former paper mills of Boissy-le-Châtel are transformed into a space dedicated to contemporary art, thanks to exhibitions by internationally renowned artists organized by GALLERIA CONTINUA. Nestled in the valley of the Grand Morin, the site benefits from refined landscape management, preserving the balance between nature and the vestiges of its industrial past. The Moulin de Sainte-Marie garden, designed by landscape architect Camille Frechou, blends harmoniously with the Skatepark Continua, providing a dynamic and inspiring setting for visitors.

  • Center d'art contemporain de Malakoff (92) - "Plant bags, fabrics and recycling" workshop

The art center welcomes the "Art en Partage" association for a workshop on plants, textiles and recycling. Artist-intervenor Ilona Mikneviciute invites children to make surprising, funny and sculptural textile planters from recycled felt and fabric. These soft shapes, sewn and assembled according to simple or more complex patterns, will become caskets for drought-resistant plants such as supervivums or sedums.

  • Hotel d'industrie Mozinor (93) - Labyrinth between heaven and earth
An architectural tour of Mozinor's landscaped spaces, combining heritage and contemporary art: linden avenues, fountains, distant views, flower meadows and shady benches, in dialogue with an in situ artistic installation by visual artist Véronique Bourgoin and musician Jeanne Susin, presented on the first weekend of the Jardins Ouverts, as a prelude to the Mozin'Arts event to be held in September, during the Journées Europénnnes du Patrimoine et Matrimoine. The tour (duration 1h30) is led by Daria Horsh, architect and urban planner in Montreuil, and artist Véronique Bourgoin.

  • Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte (77) - Guided tour of the French garden

Discover the French garden in a different way! Vaux-le-Vicomte is the founding work of the French garden. Theatrical majesty, formal perfection of layout and mastery of perspective characterize this creation, the grammar of which would later be applied throughout Europe. In 1641, thanks to Nicolas Fouquet, André Le Nôtre was given the opportunity to demonstrate the full extent of his genius. For the first time, he brought together on a large scale all the technical, scientific and artistic achievements of his time in garden design.

  • Monte Cristo Castle (78)
    • Dance show: "Fractions

"Fractions" is a dance show created by Compagnie Atmen that explores the theme of encounters. The dancers' bodies apprehend each other, come closer together to better distance themselves, find each other again and play together.

    • Exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Lionel le Calvez

Self-taught, Lionel le Calvez paints, sculpts, dreams and creates... The artist creates for a living, and creation is his life. His paintings take us on a journey to colorful, festive seascapes. Her sculptures capture attitudes and caricature characters. The artist makes them accessible, simple and joyful. For three months, his sculptures will come to life in the grounds of the Château de Monte-Cristo, while his paintings will take up residence at Alexandre Dumas. A wonderful encounter between two creative worlds.

  • Château Rosa Bonheur (77) - Theatrical creatures

For the summer, the Château de Rosa Bonheur is hosting an exhibition in tribute to Pascale Bordet, a renowned costume designer and genius caricaturist who recently passed away. The emblematic costume designer of French theater for over 40 years, Pascale Bordet dressed the greatest actors with the precision of a goldsmith and a rare sensitivity. But behind her red curtain lay another passion: caricature. In the pages of Rappels magazine, she sketched actors, directors and theater technicians as animals, with tenderness and mischief. Anny Duperey as a royal hen, Charlotte de Turkheim as a swan and Jacques Weber as a lord rabbit. It's a funny, subtle and often larger-than-life gallery of animals that the artist dreamed of bringing together in a book.V'Île Fertile (75)

  • Corniche des Forts (93) - Did you know that plants communicate with each other?

Come along on a walk and discover the various means of communication and symbiosis that nature has set up, and take the time to reconnect with living things. This stroll will enable us to discover the flora that makes up our regions and above all to understand the mechanisms of inter-plant communication: mycorrhizae, aerial communication and the role of old trees. Let's finish with a moment of calm and reconnection to nature with the Plantwave device, which allows us to listen to the music of nature and transform plant reactions into music.

  • Potager du Roi (78) - The Bathers

From Picasso to Léger, the subject of "bathers" is widely represented in modern painting. This performance around the central pool of the Potager du Roi is a lively and amusing variation, during which a couple of large dolls in striped swimsuits and pleated tulle re-enact seaside scenes. Sunbathing, lounging, games and other typical bathing postures... They move slowly around two large blue towels and a yellow tulle ball, like a primal, childlike summons to the sea and the sun.

  • Bergerie nationale de Rambouillet (78) - Barefoot trail

A former historic arboretum, the Montorgueil garden is a natural heritage that invites you to discover nature. As you stroll along the barefoot path, you'll pass through a number of different areas: a watercourse and its phytodepuration zone, cultivated areas planted with local species, an organic and permaculture garden, facilities and refuges to develop animal biodiversity, historic trees to explain their environmental impact, an open-air theater with cultural and artistic programming in the summer season, and last but not least, artistic works scattered here and there to arouse the curiosity of walkers.

  • BnF Richelieu (75) - Paper garden workshop

With the reopening of the Richelieu site, a 1,900 m² green space was created in the Cour Vivienne. Conceived as part of the 1% artistic program, the landscaped creation known as "Hortus papyrifer or paper garden", based on papyrus species, is fully in keeping with the history of the site. After a stroll through the garden's papyrus plants, discover documents produced from these plant species in the BnF museum showcases. Then, in the workshop room, make your own sheet of recycled paper and sow it with seeds, leaves or dried flowers.

  • Musée national Eugène-Delacroix (75) - Painting with watercolours

Come alone, in pairs or as a family, and enjoy the calm of the museum garden in the heart of Paris. A watercolorist will accompany you as you create a watercolor of your own invention.

  • V'île Fertile (75) - "Pangu, offrir le ciel" by the Ixtlan company and tai-chi-chuan workshop

Through the mythical tales of Pangu, he explores the links between humans and non-humans. The fluid movements of tai-chi-chuan, inspired by nature and animals, accompany the narrated tales, evoking respect for ecosystems and harmony with living things. Conceived by Lydie Marsan and Laurence Ritter, this immersive show invites poetic reflection on our relationship with the environment.
