Set against the backdrop of the Château de la Roche Guyon, Rendez-vous aux Jardins is a not-to-be-missed event for all nature lovers. Over 2,200 parks and gardens all over France will be opening their doors, inviting you to discover the diversity of cultivated nature.
Rendez-vous aux Jardins goes beyond simply opening up these green spaces to the public, with a wide range of events. From guided tours to concerts and discussions with professionals (botanists, gardeners, landscapers), you'll have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of gardens from a whole new angle.
Organized by the French Ministry of Culture's Directorate General for Heritage and Architecture and the Delegation for Information and Communication, the Rendez-vous aux Jardins event aims not only to put the spotlight on parks and gardens, but also to raise public awareness of the various initiatives undertaken to conserve, restore and create gardens.
This year's theme for 2023,"Les musiques du Jardin", will take you on a sonic exploration of the garden: birdsong, animal cries, the tumult of water, the murmur of wind, the rustle of plants and even contemporary sound installations.
