Remember when you were a kid and you used to fly a kite on a windy vacation? That feeling of being one step away from flying away? And the beauty of the kite flying high in the air?
To recapture these sweet sensations, circle Sunday, September 3, 2023 in your diary, the date of the Air'genteuil 2023 festival in Argenteuil (95).
The sixth edition of this kite festival will take place on the Butte d'Orgemont, from 10am to 7pm. Over 6,000 people are expected to attend!
For the occasion, the Hurricane association and the town of Argenteuil have mobilized nearly a hundred kite flyers (yes, that's the way we say it) from all over France, to inspire the curious young and old alike.
What's more, the Butte d'Orgemont is a great spot from which to observe the capital !
Demonstrations of aerial ballet to music and initiations will also give everyone a taste of the experience of taking to the skies with paper and fabric birds.
Young and old alike will also be able to make their own kites, customize them in workshops to decorate kites, windmills and weathervanes, and take part in a host of games to raise awareness of the need to respect and protect the environment.
We're off to the Air'genteuil festival!
