The summer season is back, and with it, unmissable events such as the famous Water Games at the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud. On Sundays June 8 and 15, and Saturday June 14, 2025, the garden's fountains, basins and waterfalls come to life in a playful and theatrical way.
Come and stroll through this 460-hectare park, classified as a protected natural site and awarded the Jardin Remarquable label, and admire this ornate, well-kept garden, which has welcomed France's greatest royal families and empresses.
As you follow the park's pathways, you'll discover numerous basins, cascades and fountains, animated by water jets that perpetuate the skills of 17th-century Florentine fountain-makers, from whom André le Nôtre drew inspiration for the design of this estate and its park. This water is a real treasure that made the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud a popular destination for members of the Court from the 16th to the 19th century.
The architects and landscape designers who conceived these gardens imagined a hydraulic network that operates solely on the force of gravity. The Grand Jet can shoot up to 30 metres into the air. The water then flows into the 24 jets, the gutters and the Horseshoe, before arriving in the Grande Cascade.
The play of perspective also creates elegant shapes, with water jets animating the Orangerie basin, the Petite Gerbe and the Grande Gerbe.
This beautiful aquatic and poetic show can be admired freely on Sunday June 8 at 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm, on Saturday June 14 at 2:30 pm and 6:45 pm and on Sunday June 15 at 2:30 pm and 5:45 pm during the concerts and water games.
Please note, however, that the Grande Cascade is undergoing renovation and will therefore not be open to the public.
Before discovering these Water Games, the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud invites you to take part in the Rendez-vous aux Jardins, an event for the whole family that allows us to discover the region's most beautiful parks. A special program awaits you on June 7 and 8, featuring themed tours, workshops and exhibitions.
