Join us for an afternoon in the forest, with a tour of the work carried out, a musical tale and an introduction to nature for children, in association with the Fédération des Chasseurs d'Île de France. A forest that lives, harbors significant biodiversity, but also knows how to die in order to be reborn.
The ONF invites you to a day on the theme of Wood Processing. Come and discover the different trades involved in the wood processing chain. In particular, you can meet the Flying Carpenter and learn about traditional hand squaring techniques.
"Sortir de terre" is a one-day walking tour of the Maubuisson forest, which is unique in that it is currently being planted. The walk explores the complexity of the Plaine de Pierrelaye area, with its agricultural history, experimental farms, a Parisian cemetery that was never built, and aqueducts that have largely shaped the land where thousands of trees now grow.
