Medicine During the Renaissance with Scalpel and Matula
Building on the success of the 2025 edition exploring medieval herbal remedies, this year’s focus is on their use during the Renaissance.
Specializing in the history of medicine across the ages, Scalpel and Matula brings the era to life with engaging demonstrations and costumes from the period. Using our garden as a backdrop, experts will show how plants were used during the Renaissance not only for healing but also for enhancing one’s appearance and maintaining health. You’ll even have the chance to craft a small ointment or a sachet of medicinal herbs.
"Herb Gardener" Workshop
