Attention city dwellers craving more greenery: the center of Asnières-sur-Seine (92) is about to embrace a cheerful countryside vibe. On Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., the city hall square will be transformed into a miniature farmyard with the setup of a pop-up educational farm. This nature-themed break invites both kids and adults to don their boots and get a taste of farm life, offering a fun-filled exploration of animals and the natural world.
What’s on the agenda? Encounters with animals, hands-on workshops, and an immersive experience into agricultural life. This weekend filled with learning will also allow visitors to dig into the past by exploring historic trades, those traditional skills that once shaped farm life for generations.
When it comes to activities, the lineup promises plenty of fun. Events run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then again from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Among the highlights is a unique miniature train: handcrafted by an artist using recycled materials. This eco-friendly locomotive can carry up to seven passengers, kids and adults alike!
Visitors will also have fun with nature-based farm games: quizzes, workshops, and even a mock cow named Rozy for milking. It’s the perfect way to try out being a farmer for a day, all in an atmosphere that’s both lively and educational.
