Paris Boat Club, a tailor-made private cruise on the Seine in Paris

Visit Paris, we say yes, but away from the crowds with a breathtaking view, we say yes yes yes. Did you know you could hire a boat for a private cruise on the Seine? We choose the time. For us, it's Friday afternoon. The skipper explains that a weekday is a good choice to avoid the crowds on the Seine. So off we go for a 2-hour ride from 2pm to 4pm. It's a tailor-made tour, since he tells us that we can ask to slow down in places we'd like to see more of.

Aboard the privatized boat, we rediscover Paris from the Seine. During the cruise, we'll visit all the historic monuments, museums and bridges on our way from the 13th arrondissement to the Ile Saint-Louis, via the Ile aux Cygnes. The backdrop is the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel Tower, the Pont des Arts, the Louvre Museum, the Musée d'Orsay and Notre Dame de Paris. Discover, ahead of time, the route the boats will take during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games on July 26, 2024, from Austerlitz to Trocadéro.

Comfortably seated, with a bottle of champagne or red, white or rosé wine, you can enjoy Paris like never before! The experience may seem a little expensive, but it's a real treat to visit Paris this way. Note that the boat can accommodate up to 9 adults. So it's ideal if you're a large group and want to keep the cost down. The Paris Boat Club team is on hand to make sure your cruise is perfectly organized, and the skipper is on hand to answer any questions you may have.
