For a glimpse of Tokyo and Japan before you go, join us at the Forum des Halles on November 17, 2023 for a 100% free day of Tokyo culture. Discover calligraphy and daruma painting, taste specialties from the Japanese capital and enjoy screenings of three films about the land of the rising sun, at the Forum des Images: Hokusai (2020), Rendez-vous à Tokyo (2023) and the short films Minori and Fuji San, directed by Cyprien, who will be on hand to chat with the public.
Starting at 10 a.m., take a trip to Japan right in the heart of Paris. Take part in free artistic workshops, and immerse yourself in Japanese traditions as if you were there, creating a giant collaborative fresco! Between noon and 4pm, the Okasan Deli restaurant will be serving delicious Japanese curries, while a tea master will be demonstrating the Japanese tea ceremony . All day long, six exhibitors will be on hand to discuss travel arrangements to Tokyo, if you're planning to visit in the coming months, from airlines to museums, hotels and local tourism.
