The Parc Floral de Paris and its 35 hectares in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes is a mine of discoveries. Japanese-inspired, it features beautiful Zen gardens with bonsai trees, rhododendrons and water features.

One of the most beautiful Japanese gardens in and around Paris is the Parc Floral. For the record, the Parc Floral was created in 1969 on the former military wasteland of the Cartoucherie to host the third Floralies internationales. Landscape architect Daniel Collin took on this major project, marking a milestone in the history of park and garden design in Paris .Thishorticultural engineer was also responsible for the first restoration of Albert Kahn's Japanese garden .

For his design, the architect drew freely on the Japanese style of the Tokyo Olympics (1964) for the roofs, pavilions and covered walkways.

On site , several are available for you to explore.
