On Saturday, April 25, 2026, La Galerie du 19M — the vibrant showcase of the Chanel Fashion House, nestled in the heart of the 19th arrondissement of Paris — marks the arrival of warmer days and the Season Beyond Our Horizons: From Tokyo to Paris, the current exhibition, inspired by Japanese matsuri, those traditional festivals signaling the changing of the seasons. Beyond Our Horizons: From Tokyo to Paris, the New Free Exhibition at the 19M Gallery
Beyond Our Horizons lands in Paris: from January 29 to April 26, 2026, the Galerie du 19M showcases French artisans alongside Japanese creators, weaving their stories together. After captivating 75,000 visitors in Tokyo, this exhibition offers a journey where tradition and innovation intersect in every detail. Everything is free—or almost!— and some activities require a booking. Creative workshops for kids and grown-ups, culinary discoveries, music, a market with Japanese influences... the activities are ready to bloom right before your eyes.
For families, the weekend goes on at La Parcelle, centered around a greenhouse, a vegetable garden, a flowering farm, a playground, and the Cabane run by the Maison des Petits at CENTQUATRE-PARIS.

- Tataki Zome creation, plant printmaking with Vergers Urbains

Participants will be invited to try tataki zome, a Japanese technique that prints plant pigments onto fabric by pounding. By selecting plants and experimenting with their pigments, attendees will create unique patterns while exploring the role of dye-producing plants.

An independent record shop, Balades Sonores has curated a sharp selection of Japanese vinyl, played throughout the exhibition Beyond our Horizons: from Tokyo to Paris.
