Nestled along the Ourcq Canal, in the very heart of the Parc de la Villette (Paris 19th), Jardin21 reopens its doors from April 2 to September 26, 2026. This 1,600 m2 third space, at the crossroads of urban gardening, celebration, and artistic creation, launches its new season with a grand opening weekend from April 2 to 5.
For the occasion, Jardin21 partners with Kilomètre25 to kick off the season on Thursday, April 2 at 6:00 p.m., in a festive atmosphere extended by a lineup that blends DJ sets, workshops, performances and moments of discovery. The reopening will also feature the photo exhibition "Photo, No Photo" presented by Mia Mao.
On Thursday, April 2, Better Rave kicks off the season with a party envisioned as a grand communal celebration, powered by DJs who will guide the crowd on a journey through italo, high-NRG, progressive house, and acid house. The lineup features Arthaere, Complice, Georgio, and Raviolis de Nuit for a night of groove nestled in the heart of the garden.
On Friday, April 3, we kick off with the inauguration of the new restaurant "La Cucina du Jardin21", followed by an evening with the Danza Autoriza collective.
On Saturday, April 4, Jardin21 also centers its program on participatory activities, with several garden- and DIY-themed sessions. A gardening workshop will, in particular, show participants how to make seed bombs, while a second workshop invites the public to explore germination basics and to start their own seedlings. These offerings, free with advance registration, are open to everyone and reflect the venue’s commitment to teaching simple, practical skills related to living things.
The weekend will also feature a booth by Ambre Maquart, complete with a silkscreen workshop, a wonderful opportunity to discover an artisanal printing technique and take home your own creation on a poster or other materials.

On Sunday, April 5, Jardin21 rolls out a gentler daytime program, featuring a outdoor vinyasa yoga session. Designed as a moment to breathe and reconnect, this class invites you to refocus in a natural setting, guided by music and the flow of dynamic yoga.
Families will also be able to enjoy “La Fête au Jardin”, a comic-book workshop led by William Gnakpa. Aimed at children, the workshop invites them to imagine and tell a story around the return of spring, while discovering the basics of comic language. Two sessions are scheduled during the day, from 12:00–13:30 and 14:00–15:30, with a fee of 5 euros for one child or 10 euros for a child and a parent.
Sunday will also feature Lectura Fabulosa, a storytelling session followed by a workshop, as well as a book stall from Folies d’Encre bookstore in Pavillons-sous-Bois.
In the evening, the all-female collective S.OROR will wrap up the weekend with a DJ set until 2 a.m.
Between celebration, creation, gardening, yoga and moments of sharing, this opening weekend perfectly captures the spirit of Jardin21: a hybrid, joyful, welcoming place where people come as much to dance as to learn, unwind, or feed their curiosity.
Jardin21 is open Wednesday through Sunday, with free admission!
