From the Bibliothèque François Mitterand (BNF), in the 13th arrondissement, to the Cité Internationale Universitaire, in the 14th, discover the achievements of the famous architect le Corbusier in Paris.

Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris (1887-1965), also known as Le Corbusier, is one of the most influential French architects of the 20th century. Renowned asone of the leading exponents of the modern movement, the architect was responsible for numerous works throughout France, including the Cité radieuse in Marseille, the Villa Savoye in Poissy, the Maison radieuse in Rezé and many others. His work will be posthumously classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2016.

In Paris, it's already possible to visit the architect's apartment-workshop in Boulogne-Billancourt, the Maison la Roche in the 16th arrondissement and a show apartment from the Cité radieuse (Marseille) in the permanent collections of the Cité de l'Architecture et du patrimoine. Now you can discover some of his lesser-known creations, in the 13th and 14th arrondissements, on a guided tour in the footsteps of the famous architect. From the BNF district to the Cité Universitaire, discover le Corbusier's first building in Paris, visit a show apartment at the Fondation Suisse and wander around on a historical guided tour organized by Interkultur, to discover the work of one of France's best-known architects! The tour costs €17 per person, with an additional €2 in change to gain access to the Fondation Suisse de la Cité Universitaire, and a metro ticket for streetcar travel during the tour. A great outing for lovers of modern architecture!
