If you follow the Seine from Paris, you'll arrive (after a few kilometers) in Asnières-sur-Seine, in the Hauts-de-Seine department. Still on the water's edge, you can opt for a family stroll or a break to watch the boats go by from the Île Robinson park.

From Paris, numerous islands - connected by land to the rest of the Ile-de-France region - populate the course of the Seine: right in the heart of the capital, you'll findÎle Saint Louis andÎle de la Cité, while following the river, other islands appear, includingÎle de Puteaux,Île de la Jatte in Levallois, andÎle Robinson, in Asnières-sur-Seine.

Particularly well known for housing the only dog cemetery in the Ile-de-France region, Robinson Island also boasts a lovely wooded park on the banks of the Seine, where families can enjoy a stroll, jogging for the more sporty, or a picnic by the water in fine weather! After being closed for several years for renovations, the park reopened in 1983, with a bandstand and children's play area, chess tables and petanque areas! Recently, a new skatepark has also been built within the park to enable riders to train on skateboards, scooters, rollerblades or freestyle bikes.

The park is open daily all year round, with opening times varying according to the season (closing at 9pm from June 16 to September 30, closing at 7:30pm from October 1 to October 31 and from March 1 to June 15, closing at 6:30pm from November 1 to February 29). To get there, we advise you to take transilien lines J or L (Asnières-sur-Seine stop, then 15 min walk) or metro line 13 (Gabriel Péri stop, then 18 min walk). Enjoy the walk!
