The Rendez-Vous aux Jardins, the cultural event that invites us to go green. For one weekend, green spaces, parks and gardens—whether private or public—throw open their doors wide to reveal their secrets. A program of guided tours and activities, often free, welcomes both the young and the young at heart, the enthusiasts and the curious alike, offering a chance to dive into our botanical heritage. Unsurprisingly, Paris and the entire Île-de-France rise to the occasion, with green spaces across the region taking part in the Rendez-vous au Jardins. The next edition is set for 5 to 7 June 2026.
At Yvelines, the Château de Rambouillet is a historic treasure of the Ile-de-France region. This former royal residence, built between 1374 and 1474, has stood the test of time, in France as kingdom, empire and republic. Today, the château-museum welcomes history buffs and cultural enthusiasts with a tour that literally takes us back in time. Situated in the heart of a 980-hectare park in the Rambouillet forest, the estate also boasts beautiful gardens, offering both picturesque settings and broad vistas.
