The 26th edition of La Médiévale de Brie-Comte-Robert awaits us on October 4 and 5, 2025 in the town center of this charming commune in Seine-et-Marne (77), offering a completely free cultural journey with over 140 artisans.

Do you love medieval festivals? Then don't miss the charming town of Brie Comte Robert on Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5, for its Médiévale 2025, a not-to-be-missed event for lovers of history and original festivities.

This 26th edition transforms the town center of this Ile-de-France municipality into a veritable open-air theater, plunging us into the fascinating world of the Middle Ages for the duration of a festive weekend. Once again this year, the event features a particularly rich artistic program, with companies from all over Europe. The Czech Republic, in particular, adds an international dimension to this year's event. The festival focuses on the diversity of street arts, with shows that take place in the streets and on the move, creating a unique immersive atmosphere.

Among the companies present, Cie Al Cantara 's flamboyant troubadours transport us into a whirlwind of bagpipes and percussion, while Cie BallaRom 's "La Mesnie des baladins" features three disciples juggling acrobatics and antics. Cie du Bord des Mondes brings its "Vrai-Faux Marché" to life with a quartet of cheeky merchants improvising under stalls.

The originality of this edition also lies in its offbeat creations such as "Sacrées Chevaliers" by Cie Les Crevettes in The Pick-Up, a burlesque static epic carried by a female duo in search of adventure. Authentic medieval music finds its place with Cie Elthin and its harmonious quintet on a historical period repertoire.

Fans of participatory shows will appreciate "Baudoin Servicial de Thil" by Marchand de Sable Productions, a tale of an executioner where justice must be served with audience participation. Cie Myrias takes us on a musical journey inspired by Scandinavian, Balkan and Eastern traditions, while Cie Rhésus guarantees an energetic experience with its 8 musicians.

What wandering shows are on offer at Médiévale 2025?

Wanderings are the soul of this medieval festival. Cie Bric à Brac 's "Rouge Sauvage" brings to life the tales of our childhood with its creative puppeteers. The Emerald Elves of Cie Opale de Lune wander the streets, leaving a veil of enchantment in their wake.

Cie Dog trainer surprises us with its "Moutons sacrés", a show in which praise and rituals follow one another to venerate these creatures as veritable divinities. More contemplative, "Les Tanarücks" by Cie Les Monts Rieurs offersa poetic ritual combining song, music and dance to sow the seeds of peace and brotherhood.

A Nuit Blanche not to be missed

Saturday evening promises magical moments with the nuit blanche. At 8pm, "Rouge Sauvage" from Cie Bric à Brac organizes a torchlight retreat from the Place du Lavoir to the Place des Fêtes, inviting us to join the pack for a fiery stroll.

The climax comes at 9pm with "Cendres de feu" by Cie Opale de Lune, a fire show on the Place des Fêtes that takes us on a spellbinding journey between sky and fire, like a dream of the Orient that comes to life before our very eyes.

Médiévale 2025 has established itself as a major cultural event in the Île-de-France region, accessible to all thanks to its free admission and facilities for people with reduced mobility. The event is supported by the town of Brie-Comte-Robert, which provides free shuttles and parking to facilitate access to this unique historical celebration.
