With summer just around the corner, there's a rather bucolic plan in Paris and the Île-de-France region to conquer more or less secret spots of greenery. The Rendez-Vous aux Jardins is the concept behind the weekend-long celebration of our bucolic heritage. The next edition takes place from June 6 to 8, 2025, and once again promises an exciting outdoor program of workshops, events, guided tours and even exceptional openings. The whole Paris region is getting in on the act, and just to the east of the capital, in theVal-de-Marne region ( ), the town of Créteil is getting in on the act.
More specifically, Lac de Créteil, an artificial lake built on the site of a former quarry, is preparing to take part in Rendez-Vous aux Jardins 2025. Since the 1970s, this 42-hectare site has been home to a leisure center, sailing school and Maison de la Nature. Want to find out more about this urban lake?
