100 rêves de lumières: a festive, free weekend to celebrate 100 years of the Cité Universitaire

One hundred years ago, the Cité Universitaire de Paris, located in the heart of the 14th arrondissement, opened its doors to students with a clear ambition: to promote peace and dialogue between cultures. Just a few years after the end of the First World War, this unique campus comprises 47 houses, each bearing the effigy of a country or region of the world and inhabited by students from the four corners of the globe, to enable them to meet and live together on the same campus.

One hundred years later, the Cité Universitaire continues to pursue the same mission, with the same objective. So, to celebrate the centenary of this unique place, a wonderful program, entirely free and open to all, is proposed from June 20 to 22, 2025. With 100 Dreams of Light, the general public can look forward to three days of festivities, concerts, DJ sets, guided tours... With digital art and music at the heart of the program.

Immersive digital art trail

Video mapping, monumental works of light and sound, augmented reality... A veritable open-air artistic promenade.

Tour of works in augmented reality

Four digital works in augmented reality in different areas of the park.

• Friday June 20 to Sunday June 22, non-stop

Fête de la musique

Musical odyssey and world music.

• 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Guided tours and storytelling for children

• Tours every hour from 2 pm to 6 pm, registration at the Heritage Centre from 1:35 pm.
• Canadian story time, free admission with snack for children aged 5 to 11, at the Canadian Student House.
