Retro roars and nostalgia in full force - the Bouchon de Nemours returns on Sunday, October 5, 2025 for its 18th and final edition! Not to be confused with this Seine-et-Marne (77) town's emblematic praline delicacy, this bouchon is not to be crunched... it's to be lived! Head for the mythical Route Nationale 7, aka "the vacation road", for a trip back in time to the days when Paris was heading for the Côte d'Azur... and often stopped, stuck in traffic jams.
Starting in the morning, the program includes a reconstruction of a traffic jam from the 1960s-70s on theold RN7 route. Cars, caravans, motorcycles, Paris buses, tractors, military vehicles... Anything that runs and whose first model came out before 1975 will be in the running! For the occasion, some participants will even don period outfits to further immerse themselves in the vintage atmosphere.
And this year, the DS steals the show! The "goddess" celebrates her 70th birthday almost to the day. Introduced on October 6, 1955 at the Salon de l'Auto, it will be celebrated with rare models, three-wheel animation and a tribute to Alain Gauthier of the DS Revolution 55 club, who passed away this spring.
In the afternoon, the Champ de Mars in Nemours promises to be just as festive:
One last corker... but what a corker! The last lap of the track for this festival of mechanics and nostalgia on wheels.
