Supported by the Ministry of Culture, the annual event Rendez-vous aux jardins takes place during the warm months, when parks and gardens are at their most vibrant and beautifully blossomed. Across France, over 2,200 parks and gardens open their doors to curious visitors of all ages, nature enthusiasts, and anyone eager to explore flora and fauna—including nearly 500 sites granted access as part of special arrangements. The event features more than 4,000 free or low-cost activities! It’s a golden opportunity to discover private gardens and hidden treasures in our regions.
This year's theme is "The Five Senses in the Garden: Sight". Mark your calendars for the weekend of June 5-7, 2026, when we'll explore some of the most beautiful parks and gardens across France — including some extraordinary sites usually closed to the public. It's a fantastic opportunity to join workshops, story readings, and other playful, educational activities in these green spaces, sharing unique moments with homeowners and gardeners alike.
Thousands of events await you over the weekend, including guided tours, demonstrations of expertise, discussions with professionals (botanists, gardeners, landscapers, etc.), musical walks and concerts. The aim of the Rendez-vous aux Jardins is to promote the richness and variety of historic and contemporary parks and gardens, and the preservation of cultivated nature throughout France.
Here, you'll find a curated list of upcoming highlights in Paris and Île-de-France. We're staying tuned, eager to see what the 2026 edition of Rendez-Vous aux Jardins has in store for us.
In short, a whole range of visits and events await you this greenweekend in the magnificent gardens of Paris and the Ile-de-France region. Enjoy your family outing!
