After conquering our taste buds with Segreto, Rure strikes a new blow with the opening of Maddalena. Located in the heart of Paris's Marais district, this new ephemeral cocktail bar aims to offer a contemporary take on the Parisian nightlife scene.

On December 21, a new cocktail bar took over the Marais district of Paris. The name? Maddalena. Behind this new establishment is the Rure company, already behind Le Segreto, that ephemeral terrace hidden away near the Opéra, as well as several Parisian soirées, such as Madame et Monsieur Rure. This time, the fine team led by Mathieu Rutigliano has chosen to set up in the Marais district to unveil this new ephemeral venue, which is likely to arouse the curiosity of many Parisians until May 31.

It has to be said that La Maddalena is much more than just a cocktail bar. Housed in a 500 m² former art gallery, the venue has been completely redesigned by architect Gaelle Valin. It now features a circular stage and neutral decor, as well as works of art to provide visitors with a new and original experience.

The artistic director of the venue has opted for luminous works of art to delight the eye. They are the lifeblood of La Maddalena. Without them, the place would be plunged into complete darkness. A particular favorite is the"Incandescences" installation by Mathias Bensimon from the Beaux-Arts in Paris. Subsequently exhibited in Tokyo, Japan, this beautiful work (oil painting on Plexiglas) can be admired at La Maddalena until May 1. Not far away, you'll also discover the works of Béatrice Bissara and Romain Lalire, two visual artists usually exhibited in galleries.

It's in this artistic atmosphere, expressed on every level, that you can sip one of the cocktails on the menu. Try the tasty "Kokou Fizz" with gin, fresh yellow lemon, matcha syrup, egg white and sparkling water, or the"Last Word" with gin, green chartreuse, luxardo maraschino and fresh green lemon, not forgetting the fruity"Brumble"(gin, fresh yellow lemon, sugar syrup and blackberry).

Otherwise, prefer the classic"Old Cuban","Vieux carré" and "Spritz".

To accompany these clever beverages, make way for tasty Mediterranean dishes to share, signed by Rure's chef. What's on the menu? A fine plate oforganic egg mayonnaise, accompanied by puffed rice, pickles, nori seaweed and aromatic herbs, as well as chickpea hummus and truffled ham from Metzger.

Discover the succulent honey-roasted feta with arugula and roasted walnuts, or the ultra-gourmet grill cheese sandwich with truffled butter. Carnivores will salivate at the arrival of the 8h beef chuck confit, with red cabbage confit and meat jus, while lovers of distant flavors will opt for the delicious cod acras with sweet and sour sauce.
