Rice, the Treiz'Asiatique street food market celebrates the Moon Festival in Paris

Calling all fans of exotic street food! Rice, le Marché Treiz'Asiatique awaits you for the first time at the Fête de la Lune in Paris this Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Marché Auguste Blanqui. A gourmet and cultural event not to be missed in the 13th arrondissement.

Rice, le Marché Treiz'Asiatique is a collaborative initiative between the Mairie du 13e, Guanghua Culture et Média, the Entreprise 13 association and Ama Prod, to bring an enriching experience to Parisians. The event is part of the Moon Festival, the famous traditional Asian celebration. It comes to life at the Auguste Blanqui market, between the Place d'Italie and the Corvisart metro station, this Saturday, September 30, 2023.

The gustatory journey promises to be rich. You'll be able to discover a multitude of culinary specialties offered by some 25 restaurateurs. From Chinese crepes to moon cakes, grilled ravioli and so many other delights, Asian flavors will be in the spotlight. The event also promises a space for expression for a dozen local creators and associations, adding a cultural and creative dimension to the festivities.

  • Moon cake tasting: A central tradition of the Moon Festival, moon cakes are a treat to discover. Their varied fillings offer an exquisite palette of flavors.

  • Culinary Discovery: With a varied selection of Asian dishes, each stand offers a unique gustatory adventure.

  • Creative Shopping: From upcycled creations to colorful posters, a selection of artisanal products will be available, reflecting craftsmanship and innovation.

  • Cultural Activities: A variety of activities will punctuate the day, immersing visitors in the cultural richness of Asia.

  • Hot Sauce Competition: For thrill-seekers, a hot sauce competition will provide an exciting challenge. For chili fans who aren't afraid of spicy food, this is the place to be!

Rice, the Treiz'Asiatique Market is designed to create a bridge between Paris and Asia, allowing you to immerse yourself in Asian culture right in the heart of Paris. Make a note of the date this Saturday, September 30, from 12pm to 10pm at the Marché Auguste Blanqui in the 13th arrondissement. Admission is free.
