Cheese lovers, this is the weekend for you! The world-famous Brie de Meaux is entitled to the third edition of its"Brie Happy" festival, in Seine-et-Marne, on October 14 and 15, 2023. In the heart of the Episcopal city, rediscover this ancestral cheese with the inimitable taste for which the town is famous, thanks to a host of free culinary events and tastings, hosted by chefs and restaurateurs. Meet the people who make it, enjoy a 100% local market and try to beat an exceptional challenge, to celebrate Brie!
This Saturday, October 14, at noon, come and take part in the longest lichette of Brie de Meaux AOP, a world record! At the end of the challenge, the lichette will be cut up and offered to the public for a delicious tasting session! In the evening, don't miss Brie Happy Night, a gala evening in honor of the Confrérie du Brie de Meaux, where you can dance the night away. Throughout the weekend, Meaux's retailers and restaurateurs will be offering events, demonstrations and workshops for the whole family.
And of course, there's no question of leaving without a piece of cheese to take home, buy on site or at a cheese auction!
