Fauchon L'Hôtel Paris, the 5* hotel on Place de la Madeleine

Fauchon has opened its first hotel on Place de la Madeleine. Just a stone's throw from the patisserie, this 5* hotel attracts gourmets from all over the world.

A Fauchon hotel in Paris? After tea rooms and stores abroad, Fauchon is opening its first hotel... on Place de la Madeleine , and there's plenty to feast your eyes on!

The hotel is not above the boutique, but on the other side of theEglise de la Madeleine. Located at 11 place de la Madeleine, the 6-storeyFauchon hotel boasts 54 rooms, a restaurant-bar, a tea garden, a quiet library for residents and a Carita spa.

While Fauchon's historic address is 30 place de la Madeleine, the Hôtel Fauchon now offers a prime spot on the square. A beautiful restaurant-bar open from 7 a.m. to 11.30 p.m., with a street-side terrace open in summer! With its gourmet menu, selection of French wines and full breakfast/lunch/tea-time/apéro/dinner offer, its 56 seats are likely to be full! The main idea is to"Live Paris like a party".

Fauchon knows how to welcome its customers: already at the airport, drinks and sweets will be offered for a moment of relaxation in the shuttle, an attention that will be repeated in the hotel. On arrival at the hotel, there's no need for a formal check-in; guests can go straight to their room and enjoy a glass of champagne, a glass of wine or a fruit juice with a pastry to unwind from the journey, courtesy of Fauchon. Then, for any kind of service, concierges will be on hand to offer exceptional moments in Paris (shopping, a trip on the Seine...).

The hotel's 54 rooms are truly spacious, ranging from 25m² for the smallest to 75m² for the largest suites, and all offer excellent amenities. First positive point: none of the rooms is on the "courtyard" side, and they all have a beautiful view of Paris, either on the Eglise de la Madeleine side, or on the Eiffel Tower side (even if you can't see your feet!). Second positive point: soundproofing! You can't hear any noise, even though you're on a Paris thoroughfare.

And last but not least, all rooms have a"gourmet bar", a library of delicacies included with every reservation. Whenever you're in the mood for a pastry, you can help yourself without having to call room service (although they do exist).

In addition to the room, guests can enjoy a delicious space, the Jardin des Thés, where breakfast is served, as well asa library, to read a novel with a view over Paris, away from the crowds.

Then, in the basement, a free-running, cycling and step area will be there for those who want to get rid of those devoured cakes (or clear their conscience to eat twice as much!). Want to regain a baby's beautiful skin? The Carita SPA has everything to pamper stressed skin.

This project is the start of many others, as Fauchon plans to open a Fauchon collection of a dozen other hotels, in countries where its delicatessens are already established. It is part of "a clearly established strategy to develop the brand's expertise in luxury and the French art of living, a universe for which FAUCHON is now the world's ambassador", says Miche Ducros, the brand's majority shareholder.
