If Pigalle isn't the tourists' favorite place to sleep, it's a shame, because the 9th arrondissement is packed with hotels and establishments of all kinds just waiting to welcome them in the best possible conditions. Such is the case with theHôtel Massé, which has just opened its doors on rue Victor Massé, in the South Pigalle district.
With 4 stars, 40 rooms ranging from 13 to 26 m2, and overnight stays starting at 220€, theHôtel Massé is Juliette Gasparetto and Julie Parenti 's first establishment, the first of a large series of projects conceived as a refuge in the heart of the bustling Pigalle district, a stone's throw from Rue des Martyrs.
In a Haussmann building, they have opened this 4-star hotel with typical Parisian charm, and a simple yet refined decor that goes straight to the essentials. The 40 rooms are all unique, with attics, balconies or rooftop views. The two founders have delicately blended raw materials (honeyed wood, soft carpets, panelling, okoume, maritime pine) in a tribute to craftsmanship and artisans.
Juliette Gasparetto and Julie Parenti, both of whom met at the Festen Paris architecture firm, see this as a way of supporting their skills.
