Looking for a spot to enjoy a relaxing romantic getaway? At Domaine de Bellevue, tranquility is the prevailing mood: this hotel with a homey, family-house vibe offers private, charming cottages where you can unwind in a calm, cocooning atmosphere and great value for money.

The place is nestled in Neufmoutiers-en-Brie, right among charming villages and within easy reach of notable sights such as Parrot World, one of Europe’s largest aviaries, the Moulin Jaune and its Remarkable Garden, as well as Disneyland Paris. Still, having a car makes it much easier to fully enjoy the nearby attractions.
The cottages are spaced well apart, with a landscaped layout that ensures natural separation and a cocoon of privacy. The lodges project a deliberately rustic ambiance, without feeling dated: you feel like you’ve stepped into a family home that has evolved over time.
We had the chance to try the waterside cottage, perched above a pond with a sunny patio for balmy days. We found it to be well‑appointed lodging, featuring a spacious double Italian shower and a well-equipped kitchenette, including a minibar. There's a supermarket a ten‑minute walk from the property, and we recommend stocking up before you arrive, especially for drinks.
Although it’s near the famous Disney parks, we’d actually recommend the Domaine de Bellevue for couples. The spa is adults-only, and the restaurant doesn’t particularly offer a children’s menu. While you’ll still see a few families among the guests, be aware that the hotel isn’t equipped with standout facilities for the little ones. If you’re looking for a more child-friendly stay, we’d point you toward a getaway at Village Nature, the Grand Hôtel, or the Dream Castle.
If one can easily imagine it for the summer months, the Domaine de Bellevue can also hold its own when winter arrives, notably with a wood-burning stove for cozy fireside evenings. The lodges are also equipped with a projector, and provided you use your own streaming credentials (don’t forget to log out before you depart), you can settle in for peaceful viewing sessions.
The spa offers private or shared access to suit your budget, letting you enjoy a serene moment beneath a glass roof with views of the surrounding nature—the estate truly lives up to its name. While the changing room could use a refresh, the spa itself remains a peaceful haven. You’ll find a bath that can be turned into a jacuzzi on request, sun loungers, fruit-infused water, a hammam, a sauna, a shower, and even an ice bucket for the bravest. When the sun is shining, outdoor loungers are perfect for a bit of sunbathing. Everything you need is provided: robe, towel, slippers... just remember your swimsuit.
Finally, the hotel's restaurant keeps pace with a lively lineup of jazz nights and special events open to outside guests. The menu offers seasonal cuisine with a generous touch of creativity, while leaning on crowd-pleasers that appeal to a broad audience. Heads up: if you have dietary restrictions, make sure to confirm the ingredients when you order, as the ingredient list isn’t always comprehensive for all dishes. Also, at the time of our visit, the menu did not include a vegetarian main course.
What we'll particularly appreciate about the Domaine de Bellevue restaurant is that the starters, mains and desserts are all on the same level: there’s mastery, technique, a touch of creativity but not too much—a balanced middle ground, provided you sample a little of everything.
For breakfast, there’s a buffet open until 10:00 featuring pastries, juices, coffee, bacon, scrambled eggs, a cereal bar, yogurts, and the essentials for early risers. If you’d rather sleep in a bit, the Domaine de Bellevue offers a brunch in buffet form as well, priced at 45€ and served from 11:30. Here you’ll find a varied spread of salads, pizzas, savory pastries, and seasonal indulgences, including asparagus at the moment of our visit, plus a dessert bar that whets the appetite. Quick tip: go with small plates to pace your eating and minimize waste if you want to sample everything!
Price-wise, as a rough guide, expect from €320 per night for two people with breakfast, two restaurant menus, and 1h30 of spa access. The Domaine de Bellevue should especially delight Parisians looking to escape the city for a charming weekend in the countryside, as well as couples planning a romantic getaway near Disneyland (about 20 minutes by car). But beyond the famous theme park, the Seine-et-Marne region is a treasure trove to explore if you have a car: plenty of great options for hiking, leisure, and heritage experiences.
