Eklo, our photos of the new hotel in Marne-la-Vallée, a stone's throw from Disneyland Paris

To offer a design establishment that is both environmentally friendly and economical... That's what Eklo, a hotel group with a friendly, eco-friendly concept, was proposing when it announced its intention to set up in the Marne-la-Vallée region of Paris. And the promise has been kept, as this new establishment opened its doors on April 12, 2021, a stone's throw from Disneyland Paris and Village Nature, meeting all the criteria set out above.

First and foremost, a design and eco-friendly establishment, in keeping with the company's credo, rooted in its DNA. A new design and eco-responsible address, both in terms of construction and operation. Built from wood, the hotel is extremely energy-efficient, and produces its own electricity via photovoltaic panels.

The same applies to water consumption, thanks to collaboration with Betterfly Tourism's software solutions, enabling complete monitoring and guaranteeing a sustainable approach, as well as air quality guaranteed by the adapted materials used here, and labelled A+ via the "indoor air emissions" label, and waste recycling. This global approach is much appreciated, and is a source of pride for the establishment, which is drastically limiting its carbon footprint.

An economical establishment too, in its energy, of course, as mentioned above, but also in the price of its rooms, since the range is at the lower end of what can be found in the region. You can expect to pay 45 euros a night for a standard room and 19 euros for a dormitory bed. Please note that for the moment, for obvious sanitary reasons, the dormitories can only be booked in their entirety, at 110 euros per night for six people. A great deal for anyone wishing to stay in the area and take advantage of the entertainment on offer.

But let's talk a little, let's talk a lot: there are 108 rooms, and the accommodation on offer is quite extensive, but above all hybrid, with Classic rooms (duo, twin or solo), Family rooms, dormitories, studios and an apartment. On the catering side, 100% homemade cuisine using local produce, to be enjoyed at the bar, on the terrace or in the restaurant. The hotel also has a communal kitchen, accessible to hotel guests as well as neighboring workers or local residents, where you can prepare tasty dishes. Table soccer, an arcade terminal and a library are also available to all.

A 10-seat meeting room is also available for business guests, allowing them to work in peace and quiet. Last but not least, a grocery store, open 24 hours a day to hotel guests and visitors alike, and stocked with a whole host of locally sourced products, awaits you to do your shopping for lunch, dinner or a 2am snack (yes, it happens...). In short, a great place to stay if you're planning a weekend or vacation in the region.
