In the heart of Montmartre, a veritable temple to our taste buds has just opened. Named Mokko, chef Arthur Hantz's very first restaurant has just opened, and it's a little wonder.

Beware your taste buds, beware your eyes, Mokko leaves no one indifferent. A surprise with every forkful, a delight with every bite, this new bistronomic restaurant on Rue Francoeur is to die for.

Young chef Arthur Hantz is at the helm of this establishment, which opened about a month ago. On the menu, an assortment of neo-bistro-style dishes that totally won us over. For this discovery, we opted for the "Nourrissez-moi" menu, priced at 39 euros. As the name suggests, we leave our palate totally in the hands of the chef, who serves us five dishes (an amuse-bouche, three courses and a cheese or dessert) according to his whim. We also let him guide us in our choice of wines, all of which are organic or natural and succulent.

Between sow's ham with rosemary oil, cod ceviche with yuzu, grilled octopus or corn soup with grapefruit, it's difficult to establish a podium among these dishes, so much so that we'd like to award a gold medal to each of them. The flavors are sophisticated and surprising, yet simple. No fuss, just great food.

The special thing about Mokko, beyond its extra-fresh produce and meticulous cooking, is that the menu is constantly changing, depending on what's on the menu at any given time. In the space of a month, some forty dishes have already graced our tables! The most popular are returning, like the sumptuous, airy purée soufflée with braised endives. In other words, you could come back every day without eating the same thing twice.

Beyond the food, we particularly appreciate Mokko's decor. The place is warm and aesthetically pleasing, all decked out in wood and turquoise. At the back of the room, a large table with seating for ten or so can be set up as a get-together-with-buddies-in-the-dining-room.

In short, Mokko is a no-brainer that we warmly recommend!
