La Villa des Abbesses is THE good address in Abbesses. The reception is warm, dishes are beautifully plated, and prices are affordable. Moreover, the non-stop service from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. satisfies everyone at any time of the day. So, what are you expecting to go there?

Rue des Abbesses, in Paris 18^th arrondissement, cafés and restaurants follow one another, really close and the choice is all ours. And speaking of choosing, how can we do that? How can we avoid the tourist trap and find the right and tasty address? Stop looking, La Villa des Abbesses is the perfect good deal in the street to eat without breaking the bank.

With its large terrace and its opulent-looking décor, La Villa des Abbesses can look expensive at first sight. And yet, the restaurant belongs to the ones offering the most affordable prices in the street with a quality food.

At lunch time, the €12.90-express set menu with a starter and a main course or a main course and a dessert offers to choose between fish, meat or a vegetarian dish. On the menu, we enjoy a marinated salmon (€8.90), salmon tartare served with French fries and salad (€16.90). The big carpaccio (€16.90) and the cheesy onion soup (€8.90) are the house’s classics. Dishes are beautifully plated, the reception is nice, here are the ingredients making the fame of La Villa des Abbesses. We’re welcomed by the manager, Meryem, or the boss, Manuella, both smiling and listening

Here, we meet a clientele made of regulars and tourists. Some local families come for breakfast in the weekend, enjoying the €7.90 set menu including a hot drink, squeezed orange, toast and croissants. As for coffee, expresso and long black Americano cost the same, €2.20, which is really reasonable.

Moving on to the cellar, we find some organic wines, red Saumur for €5 the glass and we can enjoy the cozy corner with leather armchairs for our business meetings. It’s also the perfect spot for late-night cravings: La Villa des Abbesses is open from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. and provides a non-stop service until 12 a.m. in the week and 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

A lovely décor, tasty food, a quality service and affordable prices: La Villa des Abbesses is really the good deal in the street!
