Fancy an original culinary journey? Let's go to Le Presque Bout du Monde, a restaurant in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris offering gourmets and food lovers a daring world cuisine and amazing cooking. A mix of flavors not to be missed!

If you're a fan of bold, modern cuisine, we've found a lovely spot just for you! Head for Le Presque Bout du Monde, a restaurant in Paris's 2nd arrondissement, a stone's throw from rue Montorgueil, inviting you on a journey through an unprecedented taste experience. The idea: to offer you cuisine as daring as it is original!

Behind this neobistro is the team behind La Noceria, a tapas establishment with a Spanish accent on rue d'Aboukir, which has been a resounding success since it opened in September 2022. The team offers a gustatory journey to the four corners of the globe in this undeniably charming establishment. The carefully thought-out decor and warm ambience of the place plunge you into a world of escapism. Le Presque Bout du Monde also pays tribute to the area's history, as the rue Léopold Bellan, where it is located, was once known as the rue du Bout du Monde.

As for the menu, it changes every week according to the chef's inspirations and seasonal produce. Each dish is imagined as a return from a voyage, offering daring combinations and surprising cooking techniques. The restaurant's signature dish,"Mamaligas" croquettes, is inspired by a traditional Moldavian dish based on smoked pork belly and smoked eggplant mayonnaise.

The menu also offers daring combinations, such as coconut milk soup with vegetables and tofu as a starter and a Welsh revisited as a main course. The establishment's mantra is to honor the products and dishes of each continent through 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts.

Le Presque Bout du Monde stands out for its unique, indefinable style. The chef and his brigade are constantly exploring different culinary techniques and combinations, without imposing a specific style on themselves. As a result, from one menu to the next, customers can discover new cooking, cutting or seasoning techniques that are sure to surprise them. The restaurant seats 35, offering a confidential setting ideal for sharing a moment with friends or family over dishes inspired by distant travels.

A menu that the editorial team was able to try out. And the cuisine of the world was there, with an imaginative proposal, simple in its products and particularly well executed from conception to presentation. For starters, we were tempted by the Mamaligas, the house signature dish with grilled eggplant mayonnaise, and a tartar of sea bass, hibiscus, coriander, yuzu and chia seeds. Two fine and particularly tasty starters!

On the main course, we opted for theLebanese plate, featuring chicken chawarma, fresh herb tabbouleh and a warm chickpea and date salad, as well as a blanquette of scallops with combawa-infused rice, papaya and glazed baby onions. Like the starter, both dishes are very fine. The Lebanese plate subtly blends sweet and sour, for a beautiful explosion of flavors on the palate.

The scallop blanquette is particularly ingenious in its preparation, revisiting a key dish of French gastronomy in an intelligent and surprising way. A particularly light, fine dish to be enjoyed without moderation. And to round off the meal, two fine desserts: a white chocolate passion cremeux with crumble, lime supremes and French meringue, and a homemade cookie in the form of a shortbread with walnut and hazelnut filling, chocolate sauce and mascarpone chantilly. Special mention goes to the passion cream, with its divine texture. The meringue perfectly offsets the acidity of the cremeux, and the crumble adds a particularly sparkling chewiness!

In short, an unmissable address for all lovers of travel and daring cuisine! Shall we make a reservation?
