Fancy an original culinary journey? Let's go to Le Presque Bout du Monde, a restaurant in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris offering gourmets and food lovers a daring world cuisine and amazing cooking. A mix of flavors not to be missed!

Lovers of modern and daring cuisine, we found a nice spot just for you! Head to Le Presque Bout du Monde, a restaurant in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, a stone's throw from the rue Montorgueil, inviting you to travel through an original taste experience. The idea: to offer you a cuisine as audacious as it is original!

Behind this neobistro is the team of La Noceria, a tapas establishment with a Spanish accent located on rue d'Aboukir, which has been a great success since its opening in September 2022. A team that offers a gustatory journey through the four corners of the globe in its undeniably charming establishment. The decoration, carefully thought out, and the warm atmosphere of the place plunge you into a universe where escape is the order of the day. Le Presque Bout du Monde also pays tribute to the history of the neighborhood, since the rue Léopold Bellan, where it is located, was once called the rue du Bout du Monde.

On the menu, the menu evolves every week, following the chef's inspiration and the seasonal products. Each dish is imagined as a return from a trip, offering daring combinations and surprising cooking. The restaurant's signature dish,"Mamaligas" croquettes, is inspired by a traditional Moldavian dish made with smoked pork belly and smoked eggplant mayonnaise.

The menu also offers daring combinations, such as a coconut milk soup with vegetables and tofu as a starter and a revisited Welsh as a main course. The mantra of the establishment is to honor the products and dishes of each continent through 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts.

Le Presque Bout du Monde distinguishes itself by its unique and indefinable style. The chef and his brigade are constantly exploring different techniques and culinary associations, without imposing a specific genre. Thus, from one menu to another, customers can discover new cooking, cutting or seasoning techniques that will surprise them. The restaurant has 35 seats, offering a confidential setting ideal for sharing a moment with friends or family around dishes inspired by distant travels.

A menu that the editors were able to test. And the beautiful cuisine of the world was there, with an imaginative proposal, simple in its products and particularly well done from conception to preparation. We were tempted, as a starter, by the Mamaligas, the signature dish of the house accompanied by a grilled eggplant mayonnaise, and a sea bass tartar, hibiscus, coriander, yuzu and chia seeds. Two beautiful starters, fine and particularly tasty!

For the main courses, we opted for theLebanese plate, including chicken chawarma, tabbouleh with fresh herbs and a warm chickpea and date salad, as well as a scallop blanquette with combawa-infused rice, papaya and glazed baby onions. Like the appetizer, both dishes are very fine. The Lebanese plate subtly mixes sweet and sour, for a beautiful explosion of flavors in the mouth.

The scallop blanquette is particularly ingenious in its elaboration, revisiting here a flagship dish of French gastronomy in an intelligent and surprising way. A particularly light and fine dish to be savored without moderation. And to finish this meal, two beautiful desserts: a white chocolate passion cream, its crumble, its lime supremes and its French meringue, as well as a homemade cookie in the form of a shortbread filled with walnuts and hazelnuts, chocolate sauce and mascarpone whipped cream. Special mention to the passion cream, with its divine texture. The meringue perfectly counterbalances the acidity of the creamy filling, and the crumble brings an additional chew that is particularly sparkling!

In short, an address not to be missed for all lovers of travel and daring cuisine! Let's make a reservation, friends?
