Although the club already existed in the 1970s, it was in 1988 that the Rex Club's electro history really began with the organization of a Jungle night.

Since then, techno nights have followed one another at the Rex Club, with artists as talented and prestigious as Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox, Daft Punk, David Guetta, Justice, Vitalic, Jeff Mills, Miss Kittin, Derrick May, Richie Hawtin, Seth Troxler and Kerri Chandler.

In 1995, the Rex Club took another step forward with a major refurbishment. The club became 100% electronic music, with the booth facing the public. In 2006, the Rex Club took another step forward with the installation of a totally innovative sound system, featuring over 60 computer-controlled diffusion points!

Every week, this sound seduces the ears of many a night owl who sneak into the Rex Club to shake their booty to a line-up that's always on top form. Residencies are plentiful.
