Bal du Siècle 2025 at the Palace of Versailles: an exceptional evening in the heart of the Roaring Twenties.

From Louis XIV to the present day, the Château de Versailles has seen many memorable parties and evenings. On June 30, 1923, to celebrate the end of its restoration, the monument organized a "Fête Merveilleuse", which left a lasting impression. A century later, how about a repeat performance?

On Monday, December 8, 2025, the Palace of Versailles invites us to participate in the third edition of its Bal du Siècle. From late 19th-century waltzes to contemporary songs, including the foxtrot, American jig, tango, Charleston, and Pol Jones, get ready to set the dance floor on fire and enjoy a magical evening.

Line dances, group or couple dances, romantic and festive rhythms: whatever your style, you should find something to enjoy. And if you don't quite master the music of yesteryear, don't panic: professional dancers will be on hand to give you a demonstration.

We can already see you rushing to the dance floor, but don't forget to take a quick tour of the palace: entertainment awaits you in the monument's must-see areas. Pierre-François Dollé and the dancers ofthe Royal Opera Ballet of Versailles await you in a jazz atmosphere typical of the 1920s.

Dance performances in the Hall of Mirrors, actors, fortune tellers and magic shows in the Queen's Grand Apartments, a short concert by the Royal Opera Orchestra... Not to mention, of course, the fireworks that light up the gardens, which can be admired from the famous Hall of Mirrors.

Depending on your ticket, you may have access to additional activities. A buffet is available throughout the evening, as well as champagne for Ruby and Diamond visitors during the ball. After midnight, it's time for more contemporary rhythms and music, with a modern and lively after-party in the Gallery of Battles.

Please note: a party at the Palace of Versailles is not just any event. Guests must adhere to a dress code: for men, Roaring Twenties-inspired attire or tuxedo, bow tie, dress shoes; for women, Roaring Twenties, ball gown or prestigious evening wear. Masks are not permitted.
