Here’s to beautiful flavor fans, Kouto is an address to remember! This cocktail bar hidden in Paris 10th arrondissement invites you to sip creation cocktails made with seasonal ingredients, the whole in a cozy atmosphere. By playing the homemade card, Kouto is spot on!
Entering this spot, we jump in Marie and Chirine’s universe, a couple of cocktail creators who are not faint-hearted! In a relaxing and warm setting honoring nature, let’s have a seat, chat and enjoy a foosball game while being surprised by the creations available.
Speaking of the creations… Don’t expect to find classics on the menu or get lost in a long list of ingredients. Instead of telling everything about their recipes, Marie and Chirine preferred to directly write the flavors of their cocktails with humor or poetry to inspire you!
First, we went for the Lavande, said to be bitter and floral, described as “a sparkling bitterness by the Mediterranean Sea”. That’s a success, and even better: extremely refreshing and well-balanced, this creation is very seasonal. And for good reason, at Kouto, the menu changes every two months in order to use seasonal products only.
Delighted by this first tasting, we make a bolder move and try the Roquette. The clue “Renown for its aphrodisiac principles in the Antiquity, if there is not any result, we can tell about its spiciness!” Verdict: it’s one of our favs! The very fresh arugula juice is full of flavors and the secret pairings of this cocktail bring peps and spiciness.
And to accompany these beautiful creations, Kouto offers us not only cheese or charcuterie boards, but also a vegan option such as hummus for instance.
Spoiler alert: the latter is also homemade!
So, to culinary adventurers always on the look for gustatory flavors, this is an address likely to please your demanding taste buds.
