You probably already know the Auberge Flora: a wonderful place, with both a boutique hotel and a very pleasant restaurant. Oh, you don't? Well, here is your chance to go there and see for yourself: you can go try out their brand new afternoon tea.
The Auberge Flora now welcomes you all through the daytime. Starting with the full breakfast, with fresh and homemade products, going onto lunch or dinner, with its delicious Mediterranean cuisine, that should put a smile (come straight from the South -yes, in the South, unlike many Parisians, Frenchmen do know how to smile) upon your face, and now the afternoon snack, if you are in the mood for a sweet break (in every sense of the word). You will feel right at home.
And I do mean "right at home", because Flora will welcome you with open arms and a huge smile. The food is delicious and generous and the atmosphere, pretty relaxed and pleasant. We love the nice mix between the turquoise walls, the wooden furniture and the plates on the walls.
True to the spirit of the house, Chef Flora Mikula chef offers homemade delicacies in her new teatime menu. Let yourself be tempted by a variety of cakes, cookies, shortbread, oreillettes (fried dough) with orange blossom, madeleines, delicacies with tiny grapes... or a plate of pancakes. With this, you will have homemade jams and honey, as well as a hot drink: coffee, cappuccino, Mariage Frères tea, creamy hot chocolate or a "chocolat viennois".
Basically, the perfect place for a teatime break whilst visiting Paris.
