From Thursday October 5 to Saturday October 14, 2017, Munich famous beer festival, Oktoberfest, is to be held in Paris for the third time in a row at the Paris Event Center.
In Germany, this festival is something you should attend! Both festive and friendly, it attracts many German, French, Czech and even British festivalgoers.
Following the successful Oktoberfest Paris 2015 gathering 10,000 participants, flowing 3,962 US gal lqd beer, serving 1,000 ham hocks, the Bavarian beer festival is back from Thursday October 5 to Saturday October 14, 2017 at Paris Event Center in La Villette.
Once again, every evening for 10 days, curious and beginners will gather under a Bavarian tent especially set up at Paris Event Center for the occasion.
On the menu? Many traditional beers tasting including the famous Paulaner Oktoberfest Bier exclusively brewed for Oktoberfest, as well as the Paulaner Müncher Hell or the Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier.
Because you also need to eat, make way for traditional dishes such as the famous crispy ham hock, the Tyrolean grilled spare rib, sausages from Bavaria and Nuremberg or the famous spätzle, without forgetting the sweet tooth among us: the lukewarm apple Strudel.
To take you to Germany, Oktoberfest Paris welcomes a true brass band who will perform on the stage. Accordion, guitar, drums, trumpet and keys will offer you tracks from polka music to rock music without forgetting traditional German music.
Five cabaret dancers will also perform on the very same stage to present a unique choreography created for the event: the Bavarian cancan!
Who says beer festival also says traditional outfits! Ladies, wear the “Dirndl” with pride, and you, gentlemen, go grab your “Lederhose”.
