This year, hôtel Le Lutetia turns 110. A wonderful birthday topped by chocolate creations designed for Easter 2020 and perfectly mouthwatering!
On the occasion, the palace set on the left bank and its pastry chef Nicolas Guercio invite you to travel back to the Belle Epoque with two fantastic Easter eggs.
Chef Nicolas Guercio was inspired by the most beautiful monuments in Paris such as the Musée d’Orsay and the Eiffel Tower to provide a nod to materials and rivets that also make the original structure of the Lutetia.
Lovat green, sprinkled with golden leaf, it features a chocolate mechanism entirely handmade and not molded that, when one turns the crank handle, unveils an egg, like a treasure in a box letting us see how precise the mechanism and its gears are!
Created with 64% Valrhona chocolate, this 4.5-kilogram work of art is made specially for Easter 2020 and signed and numbered. To purchase by ordering and available for €490 in limited edition.
For a rather soft price (€69), the Oeuf Belle Epoque is filled with gianduja, praline, whole hazelnuts and fleur de sel. Tasty chocolate fans, you are expected at the Lutetia for Easter 2020!
