Well, Hôtel de Crillon keeps on surprising us. After an enchanted Christmas, a fairytale-worthy Epiphany, and a very romantic Valentine's Day, the prestigious palace pastry chef, Matthieu Carlin takes us to another universe to celebrate Easter. For chocolate-addicts' greatest joy, he unveils an uncommon chocolate egg causing a sensation!
It features the famous and iconic D.S car that gets out of an egg and straight onto the Parisian cobblestones. Very visual, this work yet is a tribute to Paris and a nod to Fantômas. The least we can say is that it is very well done!
but this beautiful Easter egg is not only original: it is also a staple for chocolate connoisseurs. Made of 66% Carribean dark chocolate, it also hides dark chocolate truffles shaped like Parisian cobblestones. And if you feel like cracking the beautiful D.S open, you will find praline and nougatine eggs inside likely to make small and grown-up children very happy!
Careful though, this beautiful creation is available in limited edition. Meet from March 15 for preorders and collect between MArch 29 and April 9, 2021.
