As it happens every year, Nicolas Cloiseau from La Maison du Chocolat wished to dazzle us, surprise us and seduce us with creations especially concocted for the Holidays 2020.
This time, the Meilleur Ouvrier de France chocolatier chef invites us to experience a very gourmet travel thanks to a strong symbols characterizing the Holidays: Christmas crackers…
First, let’s see the famous and unmissable exceptional chocolate piece to discover in very limited edition, only 22 in the world. This year, the creation – entirely handmade – represents a fir tree made of chocolate Christmas crackers. An impressive artistic piece because of its size (one meter tall), and its weight (8.5 kg).
And there is also the incredible work provided by Nicolas Cloiseau and his team that came up with this Sapin Cracker made of 5,000 perforations, requiring 30 hours of work per piece.
We continue discovering the Christmas 2020 collection by La Maison du Chocolat with the Bûche de Noël Cracker, based on 70% pure Ecuador origin dark chocolate mousse, old-fashioned hazelnut praline, cocoa hazelnut dacquoise, Madagascan Bourbon pod-infudsed vanilla crémeux, dark Ecquador chiboust cream and soft whole Piedmont hazelnut cake.
This Bûche cracker is then covered in a cracker-shaped shiny dark chocolate shell with 280 holes and decorated with ivory and milk chocolate stars. Allow €95 the yule log serving 6/8 foodies. To find in stores from December 21 to 24, 2020.
And these is also the Cracker Dément making us succomb. On a layer of 56% dark chocolate are laid whole dry fruits: caramelized Spanish almonds and hazelnuts, Iranian pistachios and raspberry-flavored chocolate balls. To discover from November 10 in stores for €27 the 130-g piece.
And what would Christmas be without the famous chocolate box? This time, the collection is enhanced by Brazilian illustrator Fernando Volken Togni's colorful universe.
Inside the boxes? Unmissable chocolate bonbon:s by La Maison du Chocolat and two novelties: 70% Ecuadorian dark chocolate ganache, wooden, green and honey hints; Christmas spice milk praline (cinnamon, ginger, clove, nutmeg) and with crêpe dentelle. Starting from €30 for the box of 24 chocolates, in store from November 10, 2020.
And do not forget about the famous Advent Calendar to discover in stores from November 10 and holding 24 chocolate treats. To get for €48!
A very tasty Christmas ahead!
