Christmas log and chocolates 2023 by Alléno & Rivoire

For this Christmas 2023, Alléno & Rivoire is extending its gourmet chocolate collection with the unveiling of its very first Yule log, featuring 6 berlingots in fine chocolate shells.

Among our favorite Parisian chocolatiers, Alléno & Rivoire holds a place of choice. With the talents of pastry chef Aurélien Rivoire and Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno, we're in for a treat. Their credo: to offer exceptional chocolates with an emphasis on taste, using birch water instead of sugar. Good chocolate and exceptional candied fruit, and all the healthier for us, we can't help but agree.

For Christmas 2023, Alléno & Rivoire innovates, surprises and seduces our taste buds with its very first Yule log. Called the "Enchanted Forest of Berlingots" log, this creation unveils 6 generous berlingots in fine dark chocolate shells. What's inside? A succulent heart of raw cocoa and a delicious chocolate mousse. The whole is delicately placed on a cookie with cacao nibs of Breton shortbread; a cookie that we enjoy as a second part!

Expect to pay 90€ for this " Enchanted Forest of Berlingots " log, to be shared between 6 people. Pre-orders have been open since November 1 (in-store collection from December 18 to 25, 2023).

The Advent Calendar: the Advent Messenger
To keep us waiting until Christmas, Alléno & Rivoire offers its " Advent Messenger " , a gourmet calendar made up of 25 berlingots that can also be purchased individually. The calendar features new and best-selling creations from the Maison's collections. In addition to the chocolates and sweets to be discovered and savored, each berlingot also contains a playful message to keep you waiting with a smile. A hanging Advent calendar costs €75 (available from November 15, 2023).

The Berlingot Enchanté
Here's a lovely treat to slip under the tree for the festive season of 2023. Beneath its chocolate shell, this berlingot contains a succulent filling: chocolate hazelnuts, chocolate almonds, praline clovers... Expect to pay €42 for this enchanted berlingot (available from November 1).

Le Joyau Noir
Discovered exclusively at Galeries Lafayette Gourmet, the sublime"Joyau Noir" is entirely covered in chocolate and encloses an entremet made from a milk chocolate mousse and a ganache with dark truffle chips. Original and monochrome, this creation is sure to tickle the taste buds of gourmets in search of extraordinary power! Count €20 for this creation, to be found exclusively at Galeries Lafayette Gourmet (first floor), from December 1, 2023 to January 15, 2024.

Intense dark chocolate truffles
Perfectly addictive, Alléno & Rivoire 's dark chocolate truffles reveal an intense dark chocolate taste thanks to a melting ganache. Count 21€ for a box of 24 truffles (available from November 1st).

Candied chestnut and cognac sticks
The House's must-have sticks are available in candied chestnut (sugar-free, with birch water) and cognac versions. Crunchy and melt-in-your-mouth, these sticks are to die for! Count on 13€ for a box of 6 sticks (available from November 1st).

Clémentinessafranées chocolatées
With these Corsican clementines slowly candied in birch water, with no added sugar, then coated in a thin layer of dark chocolate and sprinkled with a few pistils of saffron, this delicacy is sure to please!
