Coffee Parisien in Saint-Germain-des-Prés already turns 20. And we have to say that it’s an institution. To celebrate its 20th anniversary in a dignified way, the place got a makeover (but kept it soul) and now provides a new menu thought up by Carrie Solomon (the Parisian American chef).
Do you like the restaurant’s burgers? Don’t cry, they’re still here, but the Carrie’s way for even more deliciousness. Fresh bun, melted cheddar and steak cooked on Big Green Egg (the famous barbecue now reigning in the kitchen), create a lovely dish. Add to this some tasty homemade barbecue sauce and this is heaven.
Among the novelties on the menu, we have a nice choice of vegetarian dishes. Avocado Veggie Toast, Veggie Benedict and Veggie Burger are now available. Kale cabbage, fresh salads and healthy avocado bowls also expect you.
Feel like changing? Go for the Waffles, this savory or sweet waffles based on chicken or bacon and eggs.
And let’s wrap up the meal with some ice cream, crumble or even a delicious cheesecake. And speaking of dessert, note that the place is open all day from noon to 1 a.m. and provides press and Wi-Fi. It’s up to you if you want to come and have a milk shake with some homemade carrot cake in the afternoon.
And with its charming cocktail list, Coffee Parisien is the perfect spot for an after or a night out with friends. from the classic Aperol Spritz or the Bloody Mary and Dylan’s creations like the Lavender Pisco Sour (Pisco, lavender, lime, egg white), the Lady Grey (Vodka, peach liquor, Earl Grey, egg white) or the Popeye Sour (Cachaça, Mezcal, ginger, lime, spinach, orgeat, egg white) once again, it’s up to you.
And we enjoy them all with quesadillas, nachos or even onion rings, and it’s heaven on earth.
Sunday is brunch day and it has been so since the debuts in Paris. Detox juices and homemade fresh fruit juice, Real Chicken Caesar Salad, a nice range of organic eggs, bagels, waffles, pancakes and addictive treats, let’s treat ourselves and share a nice moment, without fuss and in good company.
In other words, a great spot where we can relax and enjoy ourselves!
