A first for Papa Sapiens. After opening two grocery stores in Paris (rue Bayen and rue de Bourgogne), the tribe is now opening a third delicatessen on rue Feydeau, with dozens of fresh produce items overflowing the shelves.
But this new address made in Papa Sapiens isn't just a grocery store; no, no: it's a grocery store that doubles as a restaurant, hence the name Feydeau Resto ! After (or even before!) you've filled your basket, you can choose to sit down in the dining room to sample the grocer's products, cooked by chef Clément Flumian.
But what exactly is there to eat? At lunchtime, no-frills dishes showcase the delicatessen's fine produce: leeks with Piedmont hazelnut vinaigrette, flank steak from the Clavisy farm with pommes grenailles, shallot confit and bear garlic, or quinoa, carrots and turnips for vegetarians. Here, the vegetables are local, organic and distributed in a short circuit.
In the evenings, the menu adapts to the desires of guests and friends, with tapas to be shared between guests: mixed boards with pasterma and sausage from Emmanuel Chavassieux, Kalamata feta from Alexandros Rallis, mozzarella from La Fattoria... But you can also dine on ready-made dishes, such as Rodolphe Paquin's pâté en croûte, Alexandre Polmard's tartare, or Franck Leurond's croque-monsieur with artisan ham on the bone.
And for those lazy enough to make the trip to Feydeau Resto, Papa Sapiens has set up an "off-site" catering service, delivering directly to your door. So there's no need to get up from your sofa to savor the small bites created by the chef for the occasion (mini-croque, chef's verrine, foie gras lollipop with port wine, beef maki...)!
