Brasserie Cézanne has just open in Paris 16th arrondissement and offers you to discover ultra-fresh and tasty Provence specialties. Let's go and discover the south of France inspired flavors that the spot has in store, ideally set between the Trocadero and the Arc de Triomphe.

A breath of fresh Southern air blows on Paris 16th arrondissement with the opening of a new brasserie on Avenue Kléber: Cézanne. I’m pretty sure you get the reference, with such as name, Cézanne serves countless specialties from Provence and this makes every foodie very happy.

Inside, a dinning room inspired by South of France: brightened ocher walls, floor tiles, light green velvet bench seats with fringes, Provence shelters, large tables and open-plan kitchen to smell all the good things coming out of the kitchen, we could almost feel like in Provence! Even the waiters are playing the fame, wearing chino pants, Provence shirts and espadrilles.

Moving on to food, we can enjoy ultra-fresh products revealing themselves in dishes created by female chef Virginie Dupille: fresh razor shell clams à la Provençale, pan bagnat with fresh tuna, snacked small squids with bell pepper, tomato and basil, fresh goat’s cheese with thyme and rosemary or even lamb chops with fresh thyme. You can eat with your eyes closed: vegetables are all organic and coming from a small and eco-friendly farmer.

When we came, we have had the chance to discover quality sardines. Hot sardines served with nice butter and bread, so good.

Then, we have had typical and tatsy dishes such as Provençal supions just perfectly cooked.

And the Ricard flambéed king prawns for the original aspect.

Last but nor least, there's nothing quite like summer flavors. Let's go for the famous tarte tropézienne filled with smooth cream served with a nice vanilla milkshake and some champagne with a selection of desserts because it's hot and we need to cool off!

To discover these flavors from the South or to sip a drink with friends on the large and sunny terrace, Cézanne is the place to be in Paris 16th arrondissement to have a good time this summer!

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
