Review:

Ad Astra is a beautiful and complex movie that reminds uf of 2001, a Space Odyssey because of its structure and its plot, praising Bradd Pitt to the skies as he's absolutely remarkable as an astronaut reluctantly looking for his father. The photograph - by Hoyte Van Hoytema - is breathtaking whether it's the futuristic vision of the Earth, the coldness of the moon's landscape or Neptune's blue rings, as intriguing as enchanting.

Yet we might regret that even though the whole bold scenario, the movie suffers from some lengths... But it's to appreciate the pictures even more. We also love Brad Pitt's character, of a rare depth, that reminds us of The Tree of Life (by Terrence Malick). In other words, a true masterpiece to enjoy to your heart's content.
