In only 4 years, Comic Con Paris has become a reference in Europe: the pop culture festival is back at the Grande Halle de la Villette on October 26, 27, 28, 2018 for thousands of meetings between fans and pop and geek culture professionals.
In keeping with American events, Comic Con Paris is the perfect occasion for fans to meet creators, artists and actors whilst discovering novelties and exclusive contents.
If Comic Con is the place to be to meet movie, TV and YouTube stars, you will also find goodies, information and exclusive news on exhibitors’ various stands. What we love is the atmosphere: never-ending discussions with fans and questions to professionals, meetings with associations without forgetting the cosplay contest, an event waited by fans that are not scared to put their designing superpowers to the test in the French Championship of Cosplay!
By the way, participants will have the chance to present themselves to a very prestigious jury: Eulyn Colette Hufkie, The Walking Dead costume designer, as well as Alodia Gosiengfia, international cosplayer and Arlek1, winner of the third edition.
This year, the winner of the contest will have the luck to represent France in Chicago during the big world finale held on the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo festival in 2019. To register, there's nothing simpler: meet on this webpage. Registrations are open until October 14 and you have to be over the age of majority to apply.
So far, some artists have announced they will come to Comic Con Paris, such as Lee Garbett (different series such as Batman, Deadpool / Spider-Man, Identity Wars, Ghost Rider...), as well as Andy Kubert (Adam Strange, "Batman vs. Predator" cross-over, X-Men "Age of Apocalypse", "1602", "Wolverine: Origin"), Frank Miller (Sin City, The Spirit, Xerxes: The Fall of House of Darius and the Rise of Alexander, 300) and even Neal Adams (to whom we owe the characters of Man-Bat and Raz Al'Ghul from DC).
We also find big other comics names like Gail Simone, Brian Stelfreeze, Dan Jurgens, Roland Bischi, Charles Soule, Aleksi Briclot, Nikho (Young Talent Comics 2017 winner), David Lloyd, JL Mast and even Mahmud Asrar (New 52 Supergirl, Wolverine & The X-Men, Hulk, All New X-Men, All New Avengers, X-Men: Red...) to whom we owe the poster of this new edition of the Paris Comic-Con, voluntarily paying tribute to women and diversity.
In terms of TV or movie actors, we can meet Shannen Doherty (Beverly Hills, Charmed), as well as Ricky Wittle and Orlando Jones (American Gods), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), Stefan Kapicic (Deadpool, Better Call Saul), Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who, Victoria), Amanda Lawrence (Commander Larma d'Acy in Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi), Miltos Yerolemou (Game of Thrones) and even Josh Herdman, Predrag Pedja Bjelac and Adrian Rowlins (Gregory Goyle, Igor Karkaroff and James Potter in J.K. Rowling's saga). Fans can also meet Larry Franco the famous film producer (Batman Begins, Batman Returns, Jumanji, Mars Attacks! and so on).
