Taste of Paris returns from May 12 to 15, 2022, in the magnificent setting of the Temporary Grand Palais. The unique occasion for gastronomy lovers to enjoy four days and taste iconic dishes made by about forty top chefs in Paris who will also provide demonstrations... Producers, culinary show, and genuine restaurant on site are available on the menu.

Good news for all foodies, gastronomes, occasional cooks and those loving food! Taste of Paris Festival is coming back to Paris for four days of delight.. Every year some top chefs among the best in Paris, set up temporary restaurants in the heart of a show open to all, to present their signature dishes in small portions. This year, Taste of Paris expects you from May 12 to 15, 2022, for an always flavorsome edition.

This year again, the festival is held at the Temporary Grand Palais on the Champ de Mars for four days of tasting and scrumptiousness. Over thirty chefs have been announced for this seventh edition. Among them, chefs from great restaurants, Michelin-starred restaurants, Parisian palace chefs, as well as pastry chefs and former contestants from Top Chef France TV show.

Described as a cooking festivalTaste of Paris is  more than this because one comes to eat the best of the Parisian food for lunchtime (from 11:30 to 4 p.m.), and dinnertime (from 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.). But not only!

Inside this temporary spot across the Eiffel Tower, stands recreate restaurant kitchens with chefs and their teams... One can attend live demonstrations with major names of gastronomy, as a "drinks" program.

As a matter of fact, the show features a whole part for drinks to pair your meal. Champagne bar or cocktail barbeer bar, wine bar, coffee bar, or water bar, come and meet plenty of experts and their products to complete your gourmet tour.

This year, Taste of Paris welcomes Parisian palace master chefs: Amaury Bouhours (chef at Le Meurice), Boris Camella and his pastry chef Matthieu Carlin (chefs at Le Crillon). But you can also meet Michelin-starred chefs such as Pascal Barbot and Kei Kobayashi, as well as famous Top Chef chefs: Kelly Rangama, Justine Piluso, Matthias Marc, Mory Sacko and Thomas Chisholm.

Each dish costs between €6 and €12 you have to pay with a pre-paid card given at the entrance. The idea is to grab a bite here, a bite there, helped by the program presenting all chefs' dishes and enjoy them on a table or a high table.

Our word of advice? First of all, choose the day you want to come in. Yes, Taste of Paris has been shifting chefs for years now. Depending on when you come, you can meet different chefs: returning to the festival several days enable to enjoy a new experience every time.

Then, set a budget. Do not think you can come empty-handed to Taste of Paris. Yes, it is a tad infuriating but you have to pay for the entrance fee, AND then you also have to pay for restaurants! Furthermore, little of them know we cannot return for another day. We already taked with some of them, telling us to return the day after to eat their signature dish that was sold out. To eat well and get your admission, think about paying between €25 and €40 per person, or you will be disappointed!  Last but not least, make sure you arrive early and run to the stations you really want to see, even if you have to divide and rule. Some chefs have a lot of success but it is still rather smooth.

By the Crillon palace, Boris Campanella will serve a delicious vegetarian dish based on Didier Ferreint chickpea stewed and served with tomme cheese and celery juice, a surprisingly delightful dish. The green asparagus from Provence with diced truit from Burgundy and home-smoked burrata is a crazy dish you must discover.

Lots of scrumptiousness for Kaviari Delikatessen. Between the basil snow pea gazpacho shining a light on egg trout and fresh broccio, the crazy super-fluffy bun with taramasalata and dried skipjack ad salmon trout, and the gravelax salmon smorrebrod, you can go confidently.

As for Italian flavors with Denny Imbrosi, treat yourselves with whole burrata from Apulia, served over crunchy cucumber, pickled red onions and caviar to uplift the burrata. Also on the menu, pasta, of course: Rigatoni Casa Garafolo and Grana Padano sauce covered in grated black truffle from Molise. And the gelato to customize with homemade toppins, for sure, it will be a seasonal hit.
