Val d'Europe, the shopping center in Marne la Vallée (77)

Val d'Europe, the Marne la Vallée shopping center, located 40 minutes from Paris and less than 5 minutes from Disneyland Paris and the forthcoming Village Nature Paris, opened its doors in 2000. Expanded for the first time in 2009, this huge shopping centre, with a surface area of 98,000 m2 before extension, is home to 160 brands and welcomes 16.5 million visitors a year.

After nearly 2 years of construction, the Serris shopping center is now ready to welcome a 17,000m2 extension, in which the 30 new retailers will create over 1,000 jobs. At the time of writing, many stores are still looking for future employees, so don't hesitate to apply.

In terms of brands, you'll find clothing brands such as: H&M, Uniqlo, Primarks, Bershka, Jennyfer... and footwear brands such as Kickers and Havaïanas, not forgetting sports brands JD Sports, Nike, Adidas and Puma . On the beauty front, you'll find Lush, Séphora, Rituals, Sabon and NYX. And since shopping is a bit of a chore, stop off at IT,La Cantine Libanaise or Cacaotéria & Coffee shop for a gourmet break.

All the stores opened their doors to visitors on April 12, with the exception of Primark, JD SPORTS and Jennyfer, scheduled for this summer.

This new area, with its incredible 9m-high glass roof inspired by the Grand Palais, will serve as a forum for events and activities. This square of incomparable architectural quality will become the new heart of the shopping center.
