The town of Meaux is looking forward to celebrating the 2023 national holiday in style! This year, the Seine-et-Marne commune is offering a wide range of events for residents, to bring everyone together for this popular celebration.

Meaux is the department's most densely populated town, and is home to a number of places of interest that tell the story of the commune's rich history. From Gallo-Roman ramparts to 13th-century relics, not forgetting the many churches, town houses and other curiosities, there's plenty to keep you enthralled!

But what really interests us this July are the festivities organized for the Fête Nationale. To commemorate the storming of the Bastille on July 14, 2023, the town is inviting its residents to attend a variety of shows and events. Please note that the national holiday is celebrated on Thursday, July 13, this year, in Meaux. So you can extend the festivities, and take advantage of other fireworks displays or popular balls organized the following day.
