Discover the Universe of the French Navy on the Parvis de l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris

To celebrate the Fête Nationale in Paris, we invite you to immerse yourself in the unique world of the French Navy. The stage is set on the forecourt ofParis City Hall this Friday, July 14. All afternoon, from noon to 6 p.m., passionate sailors come to meet you and share unsuspected aspects of their daily lives, through a myriad of activities designed for everyone.

The crew of the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, the intrepid submariners, the daring pilots of naval aviation, and the valiant fusiliers marins and commandos of the French Navy will be joining the festivities to help you discover their unique world. You'll have the opportunity to get up close to an embarkable multi-purpose commando craft (ECUME) and other vehicles emblematic of their profession.

The program includes a variety of attractive activities:

• Concerts with the Bagad de Lann-Bihoué, the French Navy's Breton musical group,
  
• Seamanship workshops to learn the essential marine knots,
  
• 3D virtual tours to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a nuclear submarine,
  
• Sequences from thefilm Le Chant du Loup, with commentary by real submariners,
  
• A photo exhibition dedicated to the French Navy,
  
• Two food trucks for refreshments,
  
• A Marine Nationale brand boutique to round off the day in style.
